For the 27th Annual Rhinoceros Theater Festival the Billy Goat Experiment players will perform a staged radio serial that was originally created for broadcast on the Chicagoland Radio Information Service. The Adventures of B.B. and Pepe was developed as a continuing half hour radio show about a young orphaned girl and her dog—a secret pirate radio host—who battle a dystopian theme park tyrant Seymour Whimsy, a facist clown put on ice and shot into space while his evil power broker Sebastian Pox and Seymour’s only offspring, the insane conjoined at the brain twins Fritz and Franny conspire to wipe the memories of all the citizens of San Cantonburg.
In this episode, the citizens of Old San Can begin acting strange after watching a new play, produced by Fritz and Franny, which suddenly becomes a disturbing and mesmerizing hit.
